Getting A Degree Online Is A Growning Option!
Online education is growing by leaps and bounds. U.S. News & World Report wrote recently that 25% of all students taking at least one online course in 2008. That was up 17% from 2007. Students have found online classes in high school to graduate school. Evidence is accumulating that students still learn their lessons so well through the online teaching and class work face to face, if not better. There is no reason to believe that the number of students obtaining a degree in the line to do anything but grow.
Also among the growing e-learning student body are working professionals. Business and government leaders are going online as an efficient and time to train their staff. Employees of all colors have to remain constantly at the top of the latest changes and innovations in his profession, not only can do so quickly through a line that goes, but more cost effective. They are talking of cooling on the change of rules and regulations (for example, new policies of Obama health care) or recent changes in federal tax law or some kind of innovative time management. It provides the employer a greater level of staff qualifications, while helping the employee to climb the corporate ladder.
The private sector is not the only capitalize on this trend. Online education has proven so effective U.S. Air Force announced that all staff orientation and training of supervisors through e-learning through online universities. The approach allows students to soldiers and workers for online education without interrupting their careers, both when parked outside and when waiting for allocation on a national basis.
The Air Force has developed a special program to manage their new recruits, as well as external contractors. The new civilian employees and contractors can take courses on conducting Air Force business through a series of seven online modules. It’s becoming an incredible success with nearly 8,000 people who use the system already. Similarly, the service requires supervisors to 4,000 new ones each year to complete at least three virtual classes.
The system is working so well for entrepreneurs because their labor can attend classes whenever they are free, so without wasting time, when the clock as they go on campus. Some classes also allow web cameras to communicate via live video links with their instructors and classmates.
For the growth of this form of education, some schools have to reject applicants for some courses, especially with their master’s programs. Another example is the Air Force accepted only 150 of the 600 students in their classes for free in the operational military art and science.
Other government agencies should follow the example of the Air Force. Country’s Health and Human Services Department already offers e-learning for their employees. Many soldiers stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan are taking virtual classes when they are on patrol, all on the tab of the Army.
