UNVA Accreditation and Memberships
I decided to clarify that the University of Northern Virginia is certified to operate by the State Council of Higher Education in Virginia (Scheve) and is accredited by the American University Accreditation Council (AUAC). The University of Northern Virginia is authorized by the United States government to enroll non-immigrant students and to provide tuition assistance to veterans and their immediate families. It is also a test site for the College Board and college level program reviews in the United States.

In addition to the SACS accreditation, we are also pursuing accreditation ECBE (We are already a member-candidate), ATO,
Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic
Accreditation and Czech.
The University of Northern Virginia (Prague Branch) is also recognized as a foreign university by the Czech government since 2007 and students of Prague UNVA enjoy the same privileges under the law, as students from other universities in the region. Universities operating in the Czech Republic that are not on the list do not have the same UNVA approval, so that students attending these universities are not authorized were not given the status of students and do not enjoy the benefits offered students.
All of our MBA programs and BBS are certified by the University of VSE in Prague to be equivalent to VSE business programs, all students can gain recognition of VSE, and many already have.
We are also pursuing a partnership with a renowned university, which already offers a prestigious accreditation for dual degrees. It is possible that our summer 2009 graduates, current students and prospective students to obtain this double degree. ALL of our graduate degree can attend postgraduate studies at most universities around the world. The only reason that can prevent the entry is their academic performance and filings (eg, GMAT, CV, motivation letter). Many of our graduates summer of 2009 have been registered in international master programs at universities such as the Amsterdam School of Business, University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
In conclusion, we will continue working hard to continuously improve the accreditation, as well as many services for our students. Because we intend to cultivate a solid reputation, and because we want students to Prague UNVA become successful members of the business community, we will continue improving in many areas, including our academic programs. Our new management is young, ambitious and very positive, we will not rest until we reach our ultimate goal: To be the best business school in Prague.
